I'd like to have a 7' with more backbone and an extra fast tip that could fling a work horse 1/32nd up to about a 3/8th.

Love this rod
I caught a nice brown trout recently at a reservoir in Wyoming on my Mags custom 6'6" panfish rod. While it is nice for panfish, it also works well for trout and small walleyes.
This is a cool looking rod from the cork to the tip, can feel the slightest nibble and back bone will surprise you when those smaller northerns hit hard. Highly recommended.

I’m super pleased with the rod. The cork grip is beautiful, and the wraps are top notch!! I love the action, it is perfect for bream, crappie and trout down here in the south. Great job on the rod!

Amazing rod super sensitive amazing backbone will get more I love the custom colors and how vibrant the purple and blue are handles nice trout and big fish really well!

I was amazed how little time it took to take delivery of a custom made rod. The rod looks great and performed well on its first fishing trip. The sun shirt was a really nice bonus! I first heard about these rods from guide Bret Alexander and decided to make a switch from St. Croix rods for a number of reasons. I see no reason to go back.

My panfish rod has great sensitivity and can handle bigger fish that I'm not targeting. I'm not worried about it not performing.

The rod is very good looking and makes me feel good to use it. Panfish rod has great action, just right for setting the hook and keeping them hooked.
My custom panfish rod is an absolute blast to panfish with. My kids love it as well. Very responsive to feel the smallest nibbles and the rod has nice flex to make it fun reeling in panfish. Will be ordering a couple more custom rods so the kids have their own and stop taking mine!

Ordering was easy. It arrived in a timely manner. I haven’t been able to get it on the water yet but seems like a very quality rod. Waiting patiently for the perch season to open. So far I would definitely recommend Mags rods.
