Excellent rod and excellent service. Had some questions about the build process and received answers for all of them before the day was over. Rod turned out exactly how I was hoping and the build quality is incredible. Will definitely be purchasing custom rods through MAGS again.
Rod turned out great! Like the action and the detail they put into it. Ordered another immediately after!
Best float rod I’ve ever used I love it!
These two Rods are crazy nice extremely happy with How this turned out. Truly a work of art but they're gonna get used. Call ya soon about that Surf Rod. Thanks to the team for a job well done
My third mags float rod, my favorite rods to fish.
The rod looks beautiful, I haven’t fished it yet but can’t wait.
Ordered 11-6 spiral wrap for wife’s birthday. She loved it. Craftsmanship looks great. She’s only caught 1 on it so haven’t fully tested it but do far so good!
Love this rod!
Love it it finally came can’t wait to break it in thanks pat
Unbelievable craftsmanship, best rods on the market. Get a hold of Mags custom rods!! They don't disappoint. Thanks team mags.
After breaking my blood run for the 8th time I said it was enough ended up buying this ride and absolutely love it. Handles all fish extremely well. Can’t wait to get on some kings this fall.
I love the set up and the feel of this rod. Can’t wait to break it in during salmon season this year.
My 11’ 6” is an absolute whooping stick. I’ve caught countless steelhead on it, kings, lake run browns. My 250+ lb dad stood on the rod tip and I thought forsure it was broke but it’s still going strong. Amazing quality. My favorite steelhead rod by far.
The rod came out great! You guys did a great job with this one. Thank you
Excellent communication, service and quality.
Awesome and beautiful rod, caught a bunch of steelhead and browns with it. The Mags black grip keeps your hands a little warmer in the winter months.
The rod is great and balances with my new reel perfectly. It has enough backbone to handle fish in heavy current and get them to the bank. I will definitely be getting another rod in the future.
Best float rod there is. Popped it’s cherry this morning !
Build quality top notch just wish I would have gotten the silver alps reel
Love the build of the week deals
Great rod! I’ve been catching local trout with it here in Massachusetts but cannot wait to use it next fall on western New York trout and steelhead.
Only got out once lost a nice steelhead rod is beautifully made and works great 👍 super happy with it
First day out with it and handled this first steelie perfectly, great back bone and good control. Love how it feels and balanced (and it matches my reel haha). Couldn't ask for a better experience and rod.
Was looking for a 10 foot custom centerpin rod for inland trout fishing. I called MAGS and spoke with Pat. Pat took the time to listen to my exact needs, and hear what I was looking for. After listening to me, he understood exactly what I needed, and we designed a custom 5wt fly rod conversation. Today was the first day out, and the rod was amazing. Loved every aspect of the rod and had an absolute blast with it! Thank you Pat, and the entire MAGS team!
Excellent-Excellent-Excellent
Phenomenal rod! Makes fighting fish a dream! Everything about this rod feels great!
Absolutely awesome rod. On my fifth season with no issues.
I had my rod built before the start of the fall steelhead run here in Ohio. I was blown away with how beautiful it was when I got it, I couldn’t wait to get out. This rod handles fish like a dream. Customer service, quality, and overall experience was top notch. I WILL be adding another MAGS to the collection in the future.
Best float rod you will ever buy …

Awesome rod.
I bought a custom rod for my son and I've never seen him more excited about a rod - and he has many. The team was great about tracking the order for me to ensure that we had it by Christmas. Thank you!
The rod is Awesome! I’m anxiously waiting for the chance to actually use it
