I'm definitely happy with my purchase! Can tell a big difference in feel and quality compared to a rod you can get at the big stores. Only complaint is when hooking a big fish the reel tried to pull away from the rod due to it being held on with rubber bands. Nevertheless, would not hesitate to buy another!

Sensitivity is great. Have used it on perch, pumpkinseeds, bluegill, and crappie thus far. Good back bone when you hook into a bigger fish but sensitive enough to see and feel the small fish.

I bought it for White Fish and Walleye fishing.
Ice hasn’t been good enough yet for me to try it out. I can tell by holding it, that it will preform well for both.

I purchased a light action 28” carbon pre built for Crappie and Sunfish tungsten jigs and was a bit skeptical . Though i didn’t catch any panfish my first ice trip, walleyes were easily brought topside. Great fast tip action with plenty backbone kept fish pinned to the finish. Jigging control of tungsten jigs was very good. Excellent purchase

I bought the Medium Mag to use at Lake of the Woods this year. While I have not made it to LOTW yet this year, I did catch a few largemouth bass on this rod. Great response. Very sensitive. I highly recommend this rod. I already ordered the Mags Custom Light for panfish and crappies.

Last winter, we hit the Bay near Door County. Mags rods were key in all of us catching our limit on whitefish in 60' of water. The sensitivity and responsiveness of the rods was key in knowing when they were on our lures.
