I received my new rod and reel custom from Mags just before I left for Lake Erie and loved jigging the reefs with it. Super sensitive and great backbone.

My 3rd carbon x reel. My daughter, my friends, and I fish GreenBay for whitefish and walleyes. Carbon x reels have a smooth drag and have never failed us in the freezing conditions. Ordering from Mags was fast and easy. Highly recommend!
Smooth drag and retrieve
Super fast shipping, high quality reel. Came in package that was protective of reel. Haven’t made it out to give it a true test but seems to function flawlessly!

Light weight and smooth drag Only downside is about 8 hours after I ordered I received an email saying that there was a special for 25% off price of the reel when ordering a rod which I had done so I missed out on the special
Light weight, smooth, and durable!
Smooth reel
Haven't used it yet but it is by far the best reel in my collection so far. You can just feel when you crank it it's just built better is smoother than any other reel I own.
Love the reel
Very light reel, smooth drag, it’s for sure the best bang for your dollar when it comes to LIGHT WEIGHT reels that still have a good amount of drag for their size.
Item was as expected.
Bought the reel for a retirement gift. I'm going to buy the same one for myself.

Pairs perfect with rod
Very smooth reel, with an excellent drag system, was hesitant at first to purchase as I really wasn't familiar with the brand but I'm glad I did.
