I own couple of Mags power noodles I have been super impressed with. I found this rod in the bad ass build section. Purchased the rod and its first outing was at Burt Lake and then on to Drummond Island after Perch. Just like my other Mags rods, this one did not disappoint. Pairing this rod with a Diawa Legalis reel make this a really enjoyable, sensitive combo. My only regret is not buying one sooner. At least Ice season is right around the corner. Keep up the great work Mags Team!!

The 7,2 ml is the closest thing to an all purpose river smallie rod I’ve ever found. Nimble and light enough in the tip to throw 1/16 ounce finesse bait but beefy enough to throw a heavier top water. The craftsmanship is on par if not better than the almost 400 dollar flagship rods I used prior to MAGS.

First use of this rod, paired with Pfluger 40, 30 lbs braid, jigging Manistee Lake for Kings. Landed a 37" (don't know exact weight-no scale). Rod performed superb. 5 min fight twice around the boat until we got it netted. Unfortunately, that was the only fish so far on this rod, but it is now my go to. Very happy with it!

Took about 4 week to receive my rods that i ordered. Ordered 2 7ft mod fast action. Amazing rods for trolling crankbaits for walleye and also awesome live bait rods. Was a little disappointed when 1 showed up with a finger print in the glue. Contacted them and they would give me 15% off next order or i could return the rod for a full refund. I kept the rod and it gave it a little character and didn't affect performance. I now have 3 7ft Mod Fast. Thinking about purchasing another 1 or 2 if different action and weight.

I have to have rods that have great feel and recovery in the blank. There are a lot of well built rods on the market that have spongy or blanks that have very little feel but are made well. I am very impressed with Mags rods from build quality to the blanks used (you can feel everything your jig or lure comes into contact with). These spinning rods are top shelf in my book and few $180-$250 rods can compete.

Great day putting the down on these big 9" and bigger gills. It is a Amazing time feeling that thump and then the constant circles of a big bull gill and fighting them the way up from 35+ feet. This is in the yack and the long rod. However I have 5 ice rods and 4 open rods and I love them all. Also if I have company that join me either in the boat, kyacks or on ice I always grab my Megs and I will hand whomever my other rods. I really enjoy the look of your letting me use your St Croix or Pfluger "um yeah I use Megs only "

I love my new reel and MAGS rod. The reel and rod are easily put together. Unscrew the handle piece on the rod handle slip the reel mount bracket into the groove and screw it back into place until your reel sets firmly. Everything is nice and light, the reel and the pole. Nibbles and bites can be felt without question. The handle of the rod is easy to hold and fits nicely in your hand. The entire package is awesome. I would encourage everyone to use MAGS for your everyday fishing needs. You will not be disappointed in what you receive or how you receive it. Packaging and shipping is top notch, too! I’m hooked!

Love the rod, paired with the team lews pro sp real. The hook keeper needs to be below the reel. Line gets caught on it occasionally. Pat said you were in the process of moving it below the reel.

Absolutely love the sensitivity of the rod for jigging the walleye on the Detroit river. Have used many different rods and I can clearly feel anything and everything that the jig hits. Very easy to tell if the bottom is much, sand, rock, etc. Highly recommend.
